2 hurt in I-865 crash near Zionsville
A major accident on Interstate 865 in Boone County caused a closure in both directions for several hours on Wednesday night, leading to two individuals being hospitalized. The Zionsville Fire Department responded to the crash near the 4-mile marker, resulting in the closure of the fast lanes on both sides of I-65. Two people were taken to local hospitals after the collision. The Boone County Sheriff's Office announced the reopening of I-865 lanes shortly after 7 p.m. The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
