2 hospitalized after deadly Tates Creek Road collision
In Lexington, Kentucky, a tragic collision led to the closure of Tates Creek Road on Sunday morning. Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash around 9:30 a.m. on January 11 at the intersection of Tates Creek Road and Clearwater Way. Authorities confirmed that two individuals suffered severe injuries and were transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, one person succumbed to their injuries, while the other remains in critical condition. The outbound lane of Tates Creek Road was shut down for an extensive period to allow for investigation and was re-opened around 2:45 p.m.
