2 deputies transported to hospital after crash in West Hollywood
Two Los Angeles County deputies have been taken to the hospital following a traffic collision Thursday afternoon, according to the sheriff. Sky5 was over the scene at Fairfax Avenue and Sunset Boulevard just after 12:40 p.m., where damage could be seen to both a police cruiser and another car. The deputies' vehicle reportedly collided with the other vehicle while they were responding to a call, the sheriff confirmed to KTLA. Police have not confirmed what type of call the deputies were responding to or if they had their lights and sirens on at the time of the crash. The two deputies - only identified as a man and woman -- have been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff. The person in the other vehicle was not taken to the hospital, the sheriff said. No further information about this incident was available.
