2 dead in fatal collision during rainy Christmas evening in Los Angeles
On a rainy Christmas Day in Los Angeles' Glassell Park neighborhood, a tragic fiery crash occurred late at night resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The incident took place around 11 p.m. in the area of 3400 North Eagle Rock Boulevard near the 2 Freeway. The vehicle was traveling north on Eagle Rock Boulevard when the driver lost control, hit the median, and then collided with a tree. Upon the arrival of firefighters, the car was found engulfed in flames. Despite efforts to extinguish the fire, both the driver and a passenger were pronounced dead. The victims have not been identified yet. The cause of the crash is unknown, although rain was observed in the area at the time of the accident.
