2 dead, 4 seriously injured in wrong-way crash in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two people are dead, and four others are in the hospital with critical injuries after a wrong-way, two-car crash early Sunday morning in Kansas City, Kansas. According to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, at about 12:45 a.m., officers were called to the area of North 10th Street and Quindaro Boulevard on reports of a crash. Initial investigations indicate a car was driving westbound on Quindaro Boulevard when it was hit by another car driving on the wrong side of the road at 10th Street. One adult was pronounced dead at the scene, and five others were taken to a hospital with injuries ranging from serious to critical. It was later announced that one of those victims died at the hospital from their injuries. At this time, the crash is under investigation with the KCKPD Traffic Division.
