2 accused of street racing after crash in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A man and woman are accused of street racing after a crash that happened in Warwick Saturday evening. Police said the crash happened just after 6 p.m. in the area of Bald Hill Road and West Natick Road. According to police, four people were trapped in one of the vehicles after leaving the road and hitting a barrier. Investigators believed a second vehicle was involved and speed factored into the crash. The second vehicle was later found by police. Police said the first vehicle was driven by 34-year-old Ashley Pare, and the other vehicle's driver was 21-year-old Cody Cullen. Both Cullen and Pare have been charged with driving to endanger resulting in physical injury, street racing and reckless driving. Cullen also faces a duty to render aid charge.
