17-year-old boy dead in Deer Park crash
DEER PARK, Ill. — A 17-year-old boy died after a crash Monday morning in Deer Park. Authorities responded to Ela Road, north of Long Grove Road, in Deer Park, at around 7:50 a.m. Monday on the report of a traffic crash. Police believe a BMW, traveling at a high-rate of speed, lost control southbound on Ela and struck a tree. The driver, identified as Maximilian Sahinoglu, 17, of Barrington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation, according to police.
