CALUMET, Wis. (WFRV) - A 16-year-old driver was arrested in Fond du Lac County after a crash that killed a teenager and injured multiple. According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, on June 13, around 7:15 p.m., multiple 911 calls came in reporting a rollover crash near W1951 Highway HH in Calumet. Deputies were sent to the scene and were told that five to six people were involved in the crash. The initial investigation shows an SUV was driving on Highway HH and failed to handle a curve and left the roadway. The vehicle then hit a culvert and driveway, went airborne, hit a utility pole before rolling over. The driver, identified as a 16-year-old girl from Sheboygan, and a 15-year-old passenger were sent to a hospital. A 16-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Another 15-year-old was airlifted to a hospital in Milwaukee. A third 15-year-old was taken to a hospital by their parents. A 14-year-old passenger was not injured and released to a parent.
