1 student hurt after Jackson County school bus winds up in ditch
JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Jackson County school district officials are working to contact parents as students head to the board of education building following a school bus accident. Around 8 a.m. on Feb. 19, Jackson County Public Schools posted on Facebook that no serious injuries were caused by the accident. "All students have been examined by EMS and are being taken to the Jackson County Board of Education while parents are being contacted," school leaders said. Just before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office posted on social media that all students had been evaluated by medical personnel. Only one was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
