1 person killed in 3-car crash overnight on inbound Eisenhower Expressway, Illinois State Police say
CHICAGO — One person was killed and lanes were closed for several hours early Sunday morning after a three-car crash overnight on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway, according to Illinois State Police. ISP says troopers responded to the crash around 2:15 a.m. Sunday on I-290 eastbound at 1st Avenue in Chicago. One person was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead. The left three lanes were also closed at the scene, but ISP reports all lanes were reopened again just after 7 a.m. No other information is available at this time.
