1 person killed in 2-car crash on Dan Ryan Expressway late Sunday night, Illinois State Police say
CHICAGO — A fatal two-car crash late Sunday night closed lanes on the northbound Dan Ryan Expressway for several hours into early Monday morning. All lanes have since reopened, according to Illinois State Police. ISP says troopers responded to the crash on I-94 northbound at 87th Street around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries, and one was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to ISP. No further details are available at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.
