1 person hospitalized following car collision with Massachusetts residence
According to police in Raynham, Massachusetts, a car crashed into a home on Tuesday, resulting in one person being transported to the hospital. The incident occurred at around 12:51 p.m. at 1577 Broadway. Emergency responders arrived to find a Ford Fusion that had collided with the lower brick part of the house, causing considerable damage. The authorities indicated that an elderly driver from Rhode Island experienced a medical problem prior to veering off the road, crossing the lawn, and hitting the residence. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Boston Medical Center – South in Brockton for treatment. Fortunately, there were no injuries to the occupants of the home at the time of the collision. The extent of the structural damage to the house is being evaluated, as the investigation into the crash continues.
