1 killed in Frankfort hit-and-run crash, police searching for driver
FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — Investigators in Frankfort are searching for what witnesses reportedly said was a silver car after a deadly hit-and-run crash on Monday evening. It happened just before 7:40 p.m. on April 20, off Lawrenceburg Road near Cook Out, per a Facebook post from the Frankfort Police Department (FPD). Officials said witnesses described a silver car hitting a pedestrian, resulting in their death, before the driver fled. "We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or anyone who may have noticed a silver passenger car with recent front-end damage, to please come forward," authorities said. "Even the smallest detail could be vital to this investigation." Frankfort law enforcement can be contacted via the 911 dispatch non-emergency line at (502) 875-8582.
