1 killed, 5 injured in head-on crash in Oldham County
One person was killed, and five others injured, in a head-on crash in Oldham County. It happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday on US 385 south of the Hartley County line. According to the Department of Public Safety, Joaquin Soto was traveling northbound in the southbound lane. His Volkswagen Atlas hit a Nissan Armada which was towing a trailer. The Volkswagen then left the road and rolled over. The driver of the Nissan, Toby Robbins, 47, of Pottsboro, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene. His four passengers were taken to the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. Three sustained minor injuries. The 15-year-old sustained serious injuries. Christina Robbins, 46, Adam Copeland, 18 15-year-old male 14-year-old female The driver of the Volkswagen, Joaquin Soto, 22, of Pharr, Texas, was also taken to Northwest with minor injuries.
