1 killed, 1 injured when pickup truck crashes into Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Atascocita
HOUSTON (CW39) — An employee at a Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Atascocita was killed after a pick-up truck crashed into the business. This happened Tuesday afternoon on West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said a man in his late 70s hit the accelerator instead of the break while trying to park, and his truck went into the building. Three people were hit by the truck, including a customer, who was also injured. Deputies said that the driver of the truck showed no signs of intoxication. The case remains under investigation.
