1 injured, utility pole down in North Adams two-car crash
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) -- Authorities responded to a two-car accident in North Adams on Tuesday. The incident took place on West Main Street at about 5:20 p.m. near Flynn & Dagnoli Montagna Funeral Home. The North Adams Fire Department, North Adams Police Department and Northern Berkshire EMS responded to the scene. One vehicle was traveling west when it left the travel lane, and struck the eastbound vehicle on the driver's side. This caused the vehicle to roll onto its side and break a utility pole. One person was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Traffic was diverted at Brown Street and Roberts Drive until the road was cleared.
