1 flown by LIFESTAR with life-threatening-injuries after crash in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, Conn. (WTNH) -- One person has life-threatening-injuries after a crash on Route 6 in Brooklyn on Sunday. Troop D. Troopers responded to the scene near Brickyard Road at about 2:15 p.m. after a car and a motorcycle collided. One person has been flown to a local hospital by LIFESTAR personnel for treatment of their life-threatening-injuries, according to Connecticut State Police. Officials have closed down Route 6 and are asking drivers to avoid the area as they investigate. Check back with News 8 for updates.
