1 fatality, 1 critical in Interstate 840 collision
A tragic accident in the Triad has resulted in the death of a 20-year-old individual, as reported by the Greensboro Police Department. The incident occurred on Interstate 840 near Lake Jeannette Road early on Monday morning. Ka’Shawn Williamson, the young driver of a Dodge Charger, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit a guardrail and cable median barriers before overturning in the left lane. A 61-year-old man driving a Nissan then collided with the Charger. Unfortunately, Williamson passed away at the scene, while the Nissan driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
