1 dead after crash on Loyola Lane
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS said Wednesday morning that one person died in a two-car crash in east Austin. The post says that the call happened around 7:14 a.m. in the 7100 block of Loyola Lane. When ATCEMS and other first responders arrived on scene, they found an unconscious person pinned in one of the vehicles. They extricated them and performed CPR, ATCEMS said; however, they were pronounced dead at the scene. EMS brought one teenager and two children from the scene to Dell Children's Medical Center. Those three had non-life-threatening injuries, per ATCEMS. The block of Loyola Lane where the crash occurred is near Colony Loop Drive, which leads to Overton Elementary.
