1 dead after crash at Old Hickory intersection
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 32-year-old man was killed in a crash on Old Hickory Boulevard in the Old Hickory neighborhood of Nashville Tuesday night. The crash happened at the intersection of OHB and Shute Lane around 8 p.m. According to Metro police, 32-year-old James Spiceland, of Old Hickory, was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where he died. Crash investigators believe Spiceland was driving a 2011 Mazda M3 northbound when he left the roadway, drove through a ditch and crashed into a tree. Metro police noted there was no sign of impairment at the scene. The roadway reopened to traffic around 11 p.m. No additional information was immediately released.
