1 dead after 2 semi-trucks collide on Polk County highway: deputies

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene at US 98 North and State Road 471 around 10:50 a.m. The crash was reported to have involved two semi-trucks colliding, and some hazardous material may have spilled. Deputies said one person was killed in the crash. Traffic on US 98 is being rerouted, as crews expect the crash area to be closed for several hours.
