1 dead, 7 injured after multi-vehicle crash in Windsor

(WTNH) — One person is dead and seven others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Windsor, according to police. The crash was reported around 2:32p.m. near the intersection of Windsor Avenue and Route 218, according to police. Upon arrival, crews found three vehicles involved in the crash. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Seven other people were transported to local hospitals for treatment, The crash remains under active investigation, police said.
