1 dead, 5 injured in 3-vehicle crash in Crawford County
GALION, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead and several others are injured after a three-vehicle crash near Galion. The crash occurred on U.S. 30 east of State Route 598 just after 11 a.m. Saturday. One female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene upon medics' arrival. Two male passengers in the same vehicle were injured and are currently in critical condition. The driver and two male children in the vehicle had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Three others in the two other vehicles were not injured. Crawford County Sheriff's Office, Crestline Fire Department, Galion Fire Department, Jefferson Township Fire Department, Crawford County Coroner's Office, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Ohio State Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Enforcement Unit all responded to the crash.
