1 dead, 2 injured in Wolfe County after vehicle crosses center line

CAMPTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A deadly crash in eastern Kentucky left one man dead and two others injured Saturday afternoon, according to state police. The Kentucky State Police said the collision happened around 3:50 p.m. on KY-191 near Campton. Preliminary findings indicate Michael Brand, 49, crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck driven by Troy L. Perry, 51. The Wolfe County Coroner's Office pronounced Perry dead at the scene. Authorities said Brand and his passenger, Veranda Brand, were taken to a hospital with injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
