1 dead, 1 seriously injured following crash in Westmoreland County
One person has died and another was taken to a local trauma center following a two-vehicle crash in Westmoreland County. VIDEO: Top stories on Pittsburgh's Action News 4 Murrysville Medic One said in a post on Facebook that officials were called to a crash along Route 66 at Mamont Drive in Washington Township early Saturday morning. A photo provided by officials showed a truck and another vehicle with serious damage. Officials said one person died as a result of the crash. Another individual was taken to a local trauma center for treatment. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victim, the injured patient, and all those affected by this tragic event," Murrysville Medic One said in the post. "We also extend our gratitude to the first responders who worked tirelessly under challenging circumstances."It is unclear what led to the crash.
