1 dead, 1 seriously injured after vehicle hits traffic pole off FM 969
AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died and another was seriously injured Thursday after a single-vehicle crash in eastern Travis County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. DPS said the crash occurred around 2 p.m. near Farm-to-Market 969 and Imperial Drive when a vehicle hit a traffic signal pole. The department said a man died at the scene, and the driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. According to DPS, the investigation remained active and ongoing.
