1 dead, 1 injured in Colleton County crash
COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - A driver was killed and another injured during an early Friday morning crash in Colleton County. Cpl. Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident happened just before 6 a.m. on US 15 near Red Bank Road. A 2005 Toyota pickup and a 2018 Toyota sedan collided. The driver of the pickup was taken to an area hospital for treatment, the driver of the sedan did not survive. The crash is under investigation.
