1 dead, 1 charged after crash on Freeman Mill Road, Greensboro police say
A woman is dead and a man is charged after a Friday afternoon crash, according to the Greensboro Police Department.Officers were dispatched just after 4 p.m. to a multi-vehicle crash near Freeman Mill Road and Coliseum Boulevard.Investigators said Bryson Spruill, 25, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro and Brittany Jordan, 30, was driving a Subaru Forester. Jordan was stopped at a red light when Spruill crashed into the rear of her vehicle.Police said the impact pushed Jordan's vehicle forward, causing crashes involving two additional vehicles stopped ahead.Jordan died at the scene. Her passenger was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police said her next of kin have been notified.Spruill is charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and failure to reduce speed. Police said additional charges are possible pending the investigation.
