Wrong-way driver triggers fatal head-on crash on US-127 in Isabella County
ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich.— Two people are dead after a head-on collision in Isabella County. On Sunday, July 12, Michigan State Police troopers responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash on Northbound US-127 near East Vernon Road. Police say a Toyota 4Runner, driven by a 24-year-old man from Ridgway, South Carolina, was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of US-127 when it collided head-on with a Kia Stinger driven by a 22-year-old man from Moss Point, Mississippi. Police say that alcohol and speed are believed to have contributed to the crash.
