Wrong-Way Crash at Marquette Interchange Sends 3 to Hospital
A collision involving two vehicles in the Marquette Interchange on Friday morning, January 23 led to three individuals being transported to the hospital. The incident, which occurred around 5:15 a.m., was reported to the Milwaukee County 911 dispatch. One of the vehicles, a Chevy Malibu, mistakenly entered the freeway via the Saint Paul off-ramp onto I-794, then collided with a Chevy Equinox in the Marquette Interchange. Following the crash, the occupants of the Chevy Malibu were hospitalized with unspecified injuries, while the individual in the Chevy Equinox was in critical condition. As a result, eastbound I-94 from 13th Street to I-794 east at the I-43 North ramp had to be closed temporarily.
