Woman killed in tragic accident involving deer sent flying through windshield
A tragic incident occurred near Paragon, Indiana, where a woman lost her life when a deer was hit by a car and flew through her windshield. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office reported that the accident took place on State Road 67. The driver of a Pontiac struck the deer, causing it to collide with a Chevy Blazer in which 25-year-old Cheyenne Sears was a passenger. Unfortunately, Sears did not survive the crash, while the Blazer's driver and a juvenile passenger were hospitalized. The Sheriff emphasized the unpredictability of such accidents and highlighted the dangers posed by deer, especially during mating season. Colleagues and friends of Sears, who was a dedicated healthcare professional and a loving mom, have initiated a fundraiser to provide support to her family. Sheriff Myers urged residents to exercise caution during deer season and offered safety tips when encountering deer on the roadways.
