Woman killed in Lake Geneva boating accident after falling into propeller
LAKE GENEVA, Wis.--- A 57-year-old woman is dead following a boating accident on Lake Geneva Thursday night. According to the Fontana Police Department, crews were called around 8 p.m. to Gordy's Marine for a water rescue. Investigators say the woman fell off a boat while it was docking and became entangled in the propeller. First responders were able to free her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the boat's operator is cooperating with the investigation, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is continuing to investigate the incident.
