Woman from Ogden arrested for involvement in deadly March head-on crash
An Ogden woman has been charged with felony offenses following her involvement in a tragic head-on collision that resulted in the death of a young mother. Alyssa Palomo, 21, was placed in custody at the Weber County Jail on Thursday evening on various charges including vehicle homicide and driving under the influence, stemming from an incident near 30th street and Harrison Boulevard in Ogden. Lieutenant Will Farr of the Ogden Police Department identified the victim as Tylar Palmer, who was a passenger in a Ford Focus driven by Palomo when the collision occurred. Palomo was reported to have been driving under the influence and was speeding at around 70 miles per hour when the crash happened.
