Woman from Center Point dies in Cullman County accident
CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. — Tragically, a woman from Center Point lost her life in a collision involving two vehicles in Cullman County on Tuesday morning. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that Ayanna A. Scott, 25, passed away after the Chevrolet Malibu she was driving collided with a tractor-trailer. Following the impact, Scott's vehicle veered off the road and overturned. Sadly, Scott was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was thrown from the vehicle, being pronounced dead at the accident site. This unfortunate incident took place on Alabama 91 near Cullman County 509, approximately six miles south of Hanceville. The ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the crash.
