Woman dies in Fauquier County crash
FAUQUIER COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- A 34-year-old woman has died after a Saturday crash in Fauquier County, according to the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office. Depuies received reports at 10:41 a.m. of a single-vehicle crash in the intersection of Blackwell and Airlie Road. According to deputies, the driver attempted to make a U-turn when she lost control of the vehicle and went off the side of the road, striking a tree. The driver was identified as a 34-year-old woman from Warrenton whose name has not been released. Deputies say the incident remains under investigation and that speed may be a factor in the crash.
