Woman dead, man hurt in South Side shooting and crash: CPD
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday morning in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood when a shooting led to a crash that resulted in the death of a young woman and injuries to a man. The 22-year-old woman was driving a blue Honda SUV with a 28-year-old man as her passenger when an unknown vehicle approached and fired shots at them. The victims' SUV eventually crashed into a tree following the shooting; the woman succumbed to her injuries at Advocate Trinity Hospital while the man sustained injuries and was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in serious condition. The police are investigating, although no arrests have been made, and it remains uncertain if anyone was hit by the gunfire.
