Flint Davis, a pro-bass fisherman, was involved in an accident during the Major League Fishing tournament in Alabama on Wednesday. Authorities have confirmed that one person died in the boat accident, while Major League Fishing said that the incident involved Davis. However, authorities have not confirmed if Flint passed away in the accident. The incident happened on the second day of the Tackle Warehouse Invitational at Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said that the crash occurred near the Miller Flats area of Smith Lake when a Center Console vessel collided with a Nitro Bass boat. It led to the death of Joey M. Broom, who was on the Center Console vehicle. Authorities added that apart from Davis and Broom, the crash involved one person. The law enforcement has said that three bodies have been recovered, as per a report by TV6 of Upper Michigan Report. However, Davis is yet to be identified as one of the bodies recovered from the lake. The authorities have said that the incident is under investigation and no details on how the crash occurred has been released.
