Westminster police probe fatal car-pedestrian collision on Friday morning
An investigation is underway by the Westminster Police Department into a deadly car-pedestrian accident that occurred on Friday morning around 7:41 a.m. The incident took place at the intersection of Federal Boulevard and 96th Ave. Fortunately, all parties involved are cooperating with authorities. To allow for the investigation, southbound Federal Boulevard is currently closed between 96th Ave. and Green Court. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes, with traffic being redirected to the west. Denver7 Traffic Expert Jayson Luber suggests using Lowell Boulevard or Elm Street as detours to bypass the closed section.
