Warnings about wrong-way driver before fatal I-43 collision.
Numerous emergency calls came in to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office warning about a driver going in the wrong direction just before a tragic accident that resulted in the deaths of a couple, Nicole and Jay Horne, and serious injuries to their daughter, Alissa. The collision occurred on I-43 near Port Washington when a car traveling south in the northbound lanes crashed into an SUV around 11 p.m. on May 26. Witnesses reported the wrong-way driver speeding at more than 80 mph in the northbound lanes. Ace Vue, 34, is facing charges related to the incident.
