Vehicle rollover injures four, ignites brush fire off I-15 in Southern Utah
Four people were hospitalized, and a fire was ignited after a vehicle rolled off Interstate 15 near Toquerville in Southern Utah. First responders were dispatched to a car crash at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday near mile marker 35, according to officials with Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue. Reports stated that the vehicle had gone off the highway, rolling and catching fire. The flames then spread to the brush on the side of the road. They all had injuries from the crash and were transported by ambulance to the St. George Regional Hospital. Officials did not provide details on their injuries or conditions. Firefighters then worked to extinguish both the car and brush fire, containing it to a quarter of an acre in size. Several agencies assisted with the response, including New Harmony Fire District, Washington County Sheriff's Office, and the Utah Highway Patrol. ___
