Vehicle crashes into Franklin building, investigation underway
FRANKLIN, Va. (WAVY) -- Franklin Fire and Rescue are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a building Sunday morning on South Street. Crews were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the 1800 block of South Street at approximately 7:05 a.m. Suffolk Fire and Rescue were additionally requested for assistance due to the nature of the incident and reduced structural integrity of the building. Fire officials say the occupants of the vehicle were evaluated on scene. The incident is under investigation.
