Utility truck driver dies after two-vehicle crash
SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Suffolk Police responded at around 2:06 p.m. Monday to a two-vehicle auto accident in the 3400 block of Bridge Road in Suffolk, according to officials. Upon initial investigations, it is believed that the driver of a utility truck suffered a medical condition. This occurred when they rear ended a sedan traveling in front of them. The driver of the utility truck was transported to a local hospital and later was pronounced deceased. According to officials, following a notification of next of kin, the decedent has been notified as Timothy Scott, Motley, 63, of Gloucester, Virginia. Anyone with information regarding this auto incident is asked to contact the Suffolk Police Department or the Suffolk Crime Line. The crash is under investigation.
