US-127 in Jackson County shut down due to double fatal accident
Michigan State Police are looking into a two-person fatal accident on the southbound lanes of US-127 between Loomis and Reed roads in Liberty Township. Troopers from the Jackson Post were called to the scene of the crash in Jackson county. Both sides of the highway are closed as authorities conduct their inquiry. Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes during this time. Further information about the crash and the victims has not been disclosed yet. Updates will be provided when available.
