UPDATE: Thursday, May 14, 2026 @ 1 PM | PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) - It was confirmed to 59News that the two people who died in the Thursday morning accident were students at Princeton Senior High School. The identities of the two students were not released. Mercer County Schools and multiple other law enforcement agencies and school systems posted statement of condolences. Mercer County Schools will be having schools counselors and members of the district crisis response team on campus to help other students and staff.
