UPDATE: All lanes on the Murray Baker Bridge have reopened
UPDATE (9:10 a.m.) -- The Illinois State Police said all lanes of the bridge that carries Interstate 74 have reopened following an earlier crash., The crash, which was reported about 30 minutes prior, snarled traffic in the westbound lanes of the Murray Baker Bridge. No injuries were reported, the state police said PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Tuesday morning crash on the Murray Braker Bridge snarled westbound traffic and resulted in backups. According to Illinois Department of Transportation cameras, cars are seen at a near standstill on the westbound span of the bridge that carries Interstate 74 over the Illinois River. The Illinois State Police said the collision happened at about 8:30 a.m. when one vehicle was found to be rolled over and on its side. No injuries have been reported, the state police said. All westbound lanes are currently shut down and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
