Two vehicles crash leading to delays at MMMBT.
A traffic incident involving two vehicles led to congestion at the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel on Tuesday morning. Virginia State Police reported that the collision took place around 8:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the tunnel. The northbound lanes were temporarily shut down as authorities cleared the area, but have since been reopened. There were significant traffic delays in the region, as shown by traffic camera footage.
