Two people killed and child hospitalized in Calhoun County accident
A recent tragic accident in Calhoun County resulted in the loss of two lives and left a child wounded. The incident occurred around midnight on Sunday when two vehicles collided on State Route 9 near Piedmont, claiming the lives of 37-year-old Patryck Smith and 40-year-old Kimberly Feazell. Tragically, both individuals were pronounced dead at the crash site. A nine-year-old child who was also involved in the accident was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries, and their current condition remains undisclosed. While the cause of the crash has yet to be determined, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has disclosed that its Highway Patrol Division is conducting an investigation into the incident.
