The incident took place at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Rockefeller Lane around 2:45 p.m. The collision was caused by a Toyota that was traveling west on Rockefeller Lane and failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with a southbound GMC. The driver of the GMC, a 55-year-old woman from Red Hook, and her 16-year-old passenger sustained injuries and were taken to Kingston Hospital for treatment. Despite the crash, the occupants of the Toyota were unharmed. The driver of the Toyota was ticketed for disregarding a stop sign and failing to yield the right of way, according to law enforcement officials.
