Two elderly individuals killed in solo car accident in Caroline County
In Caroline County, Virginia, two 70-year-old women tragically lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred at 12:50 p.m. on Nov. 9, when Virginia State Police were called to the 16000 block of Pepmeier Hill Road. Phyllis D. Washington was driving a Chevrolet Equinox east on Pepmeier Hill Road, near Santee Road, when the vehicle veered off the road, striking a tree. Washington and her passenger, Nora Sabrina Clinton, both aged 70, were transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
