Two drivers killed in head-on, 50 Highway crash near Sedalia
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man and woman were killed late Tuesday night in a head-on crash on US-50 Highway near Sedalia, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. According to MSHP crash logs, at about 11:30 p.m., a 58-year-old man was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on 50 Highway, just west of Monsees Road, when he drove into oncoming traffic and hit a 2021 Jeep Wrangler head-on. The driver of the Jeep, a 45-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, as well as the man driving the Silverado. Authorities have not released the names of the victims or the cause of the crash.
